My client is looking for a software tester to test packages created by the in-house development teams You will work on test plans, create them, conduct regression and functional testing, and use defect tracking systems. You will design test cases and create test scenarios, keeping track of new requirements. It will be your job to identify problems/weaknesses in the software, and suggest improvements to processes.
You must be a highly skilled software tester with strong experience to demonstrate this. You must have experience of regression and functional testing, and be able to create test plans. ISEB qualification is desirable. SQL Server knowledge is desirable but not essential.
The client is based in a fantastic location in the Knutsford area, brand new offices set in stunning park land. Easily commutable from Wigan, Bury, Widnes, Warrington, Macclesfield and Stockport.
Circa £20k-£30k including bonus dependant on experience and skills. Amazing benefits inc, full Bupa cover for yourself and spouse, life assurance, 26 days holiday, and 9am-5.30pm working hours.
