I am looking to make contact with bright individuals that are looking to take their next step on the career ladder.
My client is looking to recruit a Requirements Manager for a contract role lasting 3 - 6 months based in Cheadle with a salary up to £300 per day.
Purpose of this role:
Work within the Systems Engineering Team with particular focus on the capture and management of requirements. The successful applicant would also be expected to contribute and assist with other activities within the Systems Engineering Team.
Background
The Systems Engineering Team work on projects for a wide range of customers within the Transportation, Water and Energy industries. Requirements Management is a key part of the projects and due to increasing workload we are looking to supplement the Systems Engineering Team with a Systems Engineer whose core activities would be related to requirements management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will work as part of the Systems Engineering Team assisting with the capture of requirements and then management of the requirements through the project lifecycle.
Tasks include controlling and monitoring the analysis of customer requirements, the development of the system specifications, the change request process and configuration management processes.
Key Activities
- DOORS DXL Scripts for monitoring project performance
- Excel and Word Scripting for Data Entry into DOORS
- Administrating the DOORS environment
- Producing a Requirements Management Plan for the project
- Development of CMMI processes
- Producing training in the use of DOORS and CMMI processes
- Producing monthly management review checklists and metrics
- Configuration control.
- System specification experience.
- System testing experience.
- Design experience.
