HELPDESK / TECHNICAL SUPPORT CONSULTANTS READ ON!!!
I am looking to make contact with bright individuals that are looking to take their next step on the career ladder.
My client is looking for Technical Support Services Consultants for roles based in Rochdale with a salary of 17 - 18K.
Overall job purpose is the provision of frontline technical support to residential and business users - the core aspects of the role relate to problem analysis and resolution to the customer's satisfaction. This is a demanding first line position, calling for a high standard of support to be delivered.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:-
* To provide premium quality helpdesk and e-mail telephone support to the company's growing customer base.
* To troubleshoot a user problem in a thoughtful and efficient way, identifying a problem with only limited information from the user to start with. Day-to-day problems will include ADSL and dial-up connections, e-commerce hosting, e-mail, Web and FTP configuration.
* The majority of the customers are business users and require fast and accurate responses to enquiries.
