I am looking to make contact with bright individuals that are looking to take their next step on the career ladder.
My client is looking to recruit a Lotus Notes Trainer for a role based in Manchester with a salary in the range 20 - 25K.
Certified IBM Instructor/Consultant
Seeking an individual who is a good team player with strong communication skills. The role will primarily be based around Certified Instructor led training. The candidates COMMUNICATION SKILLS combined with technical skills are imperative to this role. The candidate will be placed on a rigorous training and certifications program. Once settled into the role, the training and certifications will be a continuous process. The candidate will eventually become one of a team of consultants, as the candidate gains more experience to the technology.
As a dual role, the candidate would be required to become an administrator and developer.
As an administrator, you will gain experience of installation, configuration, and administration of Lotus Notes & WebSphere. You will have experience of network installation, configuration, and administration.
The candidate will learn to plan, install, and configure the products as well as implement applications, set up distributed clustered environments, enable appropriate security, administer and operate WebSphere environments.
As a developer you will be required to Develop with Websphere Application server. Therefore, experience of programming languages such as, J2EE, Java, HTML, XML, Javascript would be beneficial but not essential at this point. A good grasp of programming languages would act as a distinct advantage.
As long as you are willing to learn, you will learn to design, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot this vast environment.
Experience in IT Training or Lotus Notes or Websphere would be a distinct advantage.
The starting salary, as a minimum is £20k, and is negotiable based on experience.
