My client is looking for a Business Development Executive for a role based in the North West with a salary range of 30 - 35K, attractive bonus and company car..
Main Job Purpose
The Business Development Executive role is to sell the products and services that provide to new customers throughout the UK. The Products & Services are:
 Microsoft's Server & Application portfolio
 Server Virtualisation (VMware)
 Thin (Microsoft & Citrix) & Virtual Display Computing (Sun Microsystems)
 IP Telephony Solutions based on Cisco's product line
 LAN & WAN solutions based on Cisco and others
 PC & Server Hardware (Dell, HP, Sun)
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Identify new potential customers through a combination of mailings and telephone calling.
2. Ensure that all sales leads and potential sales leads are followed up in a professional way.
3. Completion of tender documentation when are invited to tender to new customers and potential customers.
4. Completion of quotations for the supply of equipment to existing customers and potential customers.
5. Represent at interviews and meetings as required to present proposals and finalise contracts.
6. Liaise with technical staff to ensure that proposals within any tenders or quotations are technically accurate and achievable.
7. Liaise with third parties (e.g. hardware supplier) to ensure that any proposals within tenders or quotations are accurate and achievable.
8. Attend meetings as appropriate, with potential customers to promote and advise on services offered.
9. Maintain a good relationship with all potential customers to ensure that are given an opportunity to tender for required services at the appropriate time.
10. Maintain a good relationship with existing customers to ensure that remain the selected supplier when the customer is reviewing options.
11. Attend strategic meetings with existing customers on a regular basis (at least twice per year, dependant on contract) to advice on new products, options and the most appropriate way forward for the customer.
12. Maintain a good relationship with relevant third parties (suppliers, strategic partners, consultants etc.) to ensure that name is promotes and best value is always maintained.
13. Attend exhibitions as directed by the Sales Director.
14. Meet monthly and annual sales targets as agreed with the Sales Director each year.
15. Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
16. Act in a suitably professional manner at all times when representing.
17. Complete any other duties that may be reasonably required by the Directors of the Company.

5. Promote the name of throughout identified markets.
6. Identify new potentials for, customers and markets.
Previous Experience:
 Previous experience of selling the technology detailed above
 Experience of the Housing Sector desirable
Salary / Benefits Package
 Up to £30k - £35k + Commission, Car / Car Allowance & 20 days holiday
