AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN WITHIN A SUCCESSFUL COMPANY IN THE STOCKPORT AREA FOR AN EXPERIENCED BUYER. THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR OVER 120 YEARS AND IS RECRUITING DUE TO GROWTH. SALARY £35-45,000 PER ANNUM. FREE PARKING.
THE ROLE-
* Travelling to China and Taiwan to meet suppliers and attend trade fairs
* Take responsibility for over 7500 products
* Source 4000 new products a year
* Cost for products from the Chinese market
* Assist in the planning of the company's nationwide exhibitions
* Work alongside the Managing Director
THE PERSON-
* Experience in buying products from the Chinese market
* Experienc in buying products such as giftware, homeware, toys or retail
* A passion for the products and buying
* Able to travel to the Far East for 3-4 months a year
* Honest, confident and organised
