The Organisation
Established in the early 80s, this organisation has experienced significant growth year on year and as a result staffing levels have grown to 750, and for this growth to continue.
The majority of the workforce is based at the Manchester head office, as is this role, and will soon move to a bespoke, high spec new building, again in the city centre.
The Role
As Employment Law Consultant you will be responsible for providing pragmatic and helpful telephone advice on HR/Employment issues to clients from a wide range organisations and industry sectors.
Ensuring knowledge of employment law and personnel best practice is continually updated
Delivering the highest professional HR standards
Providing advisory skills to support your clients and build relationships in order to strengthen our service
Advise on the implementation of statute/contract compliance
The Person:
Self motivated, confident, and pro-active with excellent communication skills. Knowledgeable in all aspects of generalist HR and, in particular, strong knowledge of employment law and have the ability to be creative in its application to give commercial focus. You should have strong relationship and rapport building skills.
Previous Consultants have come from a combination of backgrounds including generalist HR, Trade Unions, the EAT system, the CAB and various other sectors.
