We’d be the first to admit that ours isn’t exactly a household name. And yet, with a turnover of £534 million and profits of £64 million, we’re the largest, most profitable home shopping company in the UK. So, we may just be the biggest company you’ve never heard of.

Our story began back in 1859, when Manchester entrepreneur James David Williams first started to operate three mobile shops. Since then, we have launched a staggering 27 catalogue titles – Simply Be, Marisota, Vivaladiva, Jacamo and House of Bath being just some of our more popular titles.

Our Customer Contact Centre, just above Victoria Station, was specifically designed with our people in mind. It’s big and airy with a restaurant, a café, breakout areas and a gym and aerobics studio, all on site. As well as the monthly recognition schemes we run for our advisors, we hold a big annual rewards event – red carpet, posh frocks, champagne and tuxedos. We’re big on development too, and we’ve taken a bespoke approach to our training. After all, more than anyone, we know that one size doesn’t fit all.
